While work is infinite, time is most certainly finite.
That’s why the focus shouldn’t just be on managing your work—it’s on managing your time.
One of the most vital lessons I’ve learned is this: every month, week, and day should start with a brief session of prioritising tasks that will have the most impact. Spend 80% of your time on activities that generate revenue today or build your business for the future, and 20% on everything else—the tasks that can be delegated, outsourced, or even automated.
As your business grows, how you manage your time becomes one of the biggest “make or break” strategies you can implement. Time invested strategically compounds; time wasted compounds too.
So, ask yourself: do you actively manage your day, or are you letting it manage you? Take a moment to plan, prioritise, and protect your most valuable resource.
Remember the saying – you can be busy being busy or you can be busy doing business. Once you master this concept, you gain back hours and days to really take time for yourself for innovation for growth or just to be for a while
Your next step: share in the comments one way you’ll reclaim your time this week—or let’s chat about strategies that actually work for growing businesses.
